Freebie Friday!

Freebie Fridays

I am so excited to take part in my first Freebie Friday! I have been creating a 25 page packet about the Fact Family! The packet will include a colorful read-aloud that teaches the patterns and procedures of creating a fact family that could be used for guided instruction or in small groups. It could also be used for struggling learners or for young learners ready for a challenge. It also includes supplemental pages for further instruction or practice on the patterns of a fact family. Lastly, it includes 5 worksheets that progress in level of difficulty. The entire packet creates a unified and consistent plan to teaching fact families that will encourage knowledge retention, which is the mission! I used to teach the Fact Family this way in my classroom with great success. So I would like to pass it along to you! Make sure to follow my page to get the entire packet as soon as it comes out!

Your freebie today will be two of the worksheets that are a part of this packet! They can be used as practice pages after instruction, as homework, or at centers! Please let me know what you think about it in the comments!

Click on the link below to get the freebie!!

  2. Hi Leah, great worksheet. I use fact families as part of our daily warm-up in our Journals. This will be a great way to introduce it. I will have them complete the worksheets, fold them in half and glue on a page. Thanks
