Throw Back Thursday= Updated Teacher Binders!

Hello, friends! I am so thrilled to be working on my blog and store this summer. Have you ever felt like you were on a ride that was full of bends, twists, even flips and it didn't seem to end? Yeah, that would be my life right now! I am so thankful that God has been with me through every stage, step, and scary moment. I would never had kept my sanity without His help. Once again, I look to Him today as I went to the doctor and received news that I wasn't expecting. A quick procedure could potentially be major surgery. I am once again looking at something beyond my control and simply trusting that God knew about it before I ever got here. :)

BUT, let me share with you my #Throw Back Thursday: Teacher Style!

This will be a series that I will do as often as possible that shares with you my resources that have been revamped and made to be even more fun. Today I want to share my Teacher Binders that have been updated with new calendars for 2014 and 2015! If you have already purchased these binders, you can redownload to get the newest versions. Let me share just a bit of the feedback that I have been receiving. It truly makes my day.

Julie G. ~ Thank you! Big help to all teachers! And so very cute!

Jennifer K. ~ Cannot wait to print and set up for this school year!!

Tana W. ~ Love utilizing this in my beach themed classroom. Thanks

I am so excited to hear that teachers are loving them! Here are the binders that I currently have available. As always, feel free to pin and just click on the picture to visit them in my store! :)

And here is my newest pack for the sports fans!

I will be adding more themes soon. I am thinking about a cute space theme.

What do you think? Do you have a theme you would like to see? Comment below and perhaps that will be next!

New Beginnings = New Multiplication Pack... I'm Back!

Hello, friends! No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth. :) Life has been full of new things since I accepted my new job back in August... Let me just run through it a bit:

New home...

          New state...

                  New church...

                              New job...

New... new... new...

Wowzers!! These past few months have left my world reeling and my mind spinning. Not long after I got my new job as a third grade teacher, my husband and I felt the need to move closer as we lived an hour and a half away. We began to look around and God started opening doors for us. We found a new church (first priority), then found a home (cutest evah!). We next began the transition of resigning from pastoral ministry and have been praying about where my hubby will land. As of right now, we are operating on one income and praying for provision. Unfortunately, I have not had internet service throughout much of this transition so blogging has been relegated to the corner.

"But nobody puts Baby in the corner!" (You knew that was coming.) :)

So, I am excited to be back and I have begun to create new resources that I am using in my own third grade classroom. I am proud to introduce my first multiplication pack that has been exciting to use for my class. I needed a multiplication system to implement in my room that would display the students' progress, provide quizzes and a way to support students as they study. My team decided to use bookmarks for students to study. They keep the bookmark in their AR book on the corner of their desk so they always have two options when they have finished an activity early. Students take quizzes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If they pass, they receive a new bookmark to study. They can also progress along a bulletin board. I have included a bulletin board set for you to use in each pack.

Because I LOVE themes, I have included two separate looks: Football and Beach! Here is a peek at what all you will receive:

{NEW} 7th Grade Common Core Resources

Hello, friends! I have been working my little fingers off trying to finish up Common Core resources that have been requested. My latest pack deals with 7th Grade and had been requested some time ago. It has been on my to-do list slowly making its way to the top and I am ready to unveil the completed product!

This 7th Grade pack includes Common Core checklists for easy reference as well as assessment records that you can use per student or per class. You use these records to notate dates of instruction, assessment and remediation for each strand. You will also find posters to post on your wall or board that will note the strand being taught during that lesson. In a few of the packs, you will see planning pages that help you to plan or track your lessons. Here are the completed packs!  (Just click on any of the pictures to see it in my TPT store!)

This one was a doozy for 7th Grade ELA!

This pack is for 7th Grade Math.

And, here is 7th Grade Reading!

If you would like to purchase all three areas, you can buy the MEGA Bundle for additional savings. In this pack, you will receive all of the pages shown above!

Have a fantastic day!

{NEW} Teacher Binder Resources (Let's Get Organized: Part One)

Hello, friends! This week I am kicking off a new series on Let's Get Organized! You will find resources, ideas, tips, and techniques to get your classroom ready for a new adventure. Make sure to come back each day this week and then join up with a fun organizational linky party on Friday to share your tips!

Today is all about getting the teacher organized utilizing a teacher binder. This binder can be one large one or even a group of smaller binders. You can use cute dividers to break up your sections of forms, grades, lesson plans, and more. The great thing about binders instead of those little books from the teacher store is that you can add to or take away! You make it what you need it to be. Place them on your shelf or across your desk for quick reference. There is no better feeling than knowing exactly where a form is when a parent or principal is waiting on you to deliver it.

A teacher binder has been my project today and all I have to say is: somebody stop me! It has been on my to-do list for about a month and and I am happy to say that I have finally finished! I have created it so far in three different themes and oh..my..goodness... They are so much fun! They have anywhere from 100-125 pages. They include cover pages, forms, charts, grade sheets, attendance records, lesson plan forms, calendars... the list goes on! Take a peek and just click the link for a better look!

Last, but not least:

Tomorrow, we will continue our theme on organization by discussing how to CLEAN OUT what you already have. Have you ever just looked around your room and thought about striking a match? Too much paper, too much clutter, just TOO MUCH! Check back in tomorrow for some tips and tricks for taking charge of the clutter. See you then!

July Currently and Beach Resources

Seriously?!! Is it time already? It hasn't been long since I was sharing my thoughts for June. *sigh* Where does the time go? So without further ado, I have linked up with Oh' Boy 4th Grade to share my July Currently.
  • Listening- to worship music as this is one of the only things that keeps me going while trying to SUMMER clean my house. ugh.... pick up, clean out, throw away, give away... My house is upside down!
  • Loving- that my family is helping! Seriously, I would NEVAH get this done if I was one my own.
  • Thinking- a milkshake would hit the spot right now! Now to find my keys... ;)
  • Wanting- new bookshelves!! I have hundreds of books that need a new home since my hubby stole mine for his office. I also want new shelves for a few of my closets. Can you say unorganized? ugh...
  • Needing- to get all of those rafflecopters finished and ready to post!! HINT: There is a MEGA giveaway coming up this week to celebrate 500 TPT followers as well as 500 Facebook followers!
  • Tips, Tricks or Hints- One thing I try to remember is that I not only write for my current followers but also for the future. I have found old posts that still gain readership. This was especially encouraging when I only had one faithful follower. Thanks Mom! ;) Also, I have learned not to force it! There are times when, frankly, I am not up for writing. Life seems crazy and I am fighting to keep my sanity. I am sure you never get there. ;) So, often I have to decide to wait until my mind is bit more clear and my priorities seem in hand before I write.
Before closing up this post, I thought I would share my newest Off to the Beach pack with you! All of the items are available individually or in a big bundle. I hope you like! Also, I have included a desk tag freebie that matches the set perfectly! I hope you enjoy it.
Just click on the TPT photo below to see in my store!

Hope you having a great day! :) It is back to organizing for me! Do you have a time of year when you clean out and reorganize?

NEW Homework Resource: Save the Ink!

Hello, everyone! I have been having so much fun creating over these past few days. I hope it makes up for the bit of absence over the last few weeks. :)  My newest resource is a customizable homework sheet that allows you to save some ink! My last pack that includes 40 different homework sheets has done very well but are full color. If color ink is not a problem for you, you can find it by clicking the picture below.

However, I know that many of you don't have the luxury of color printers! Or, if you do, you wouldn't want to spend the ink on a homework sheet. So, I went back to the drawing board and created blackline homework sheets that you can customize! In this pack, you will find 20 homework sheets that follow the same format but have different themes so that you can use different pages throughout the year. Some of the themes you will find: Hollywood, Back to School, Holiday, Thanksgiving, Valentine, Martin Luther King, Jr and more!  Here is a preview of them all!

(BTW, are you a follower of the Learning 4 Keeps Facebook page? I usually host a giveaway on all new products and someone won this pack free last night! Head on over and join us!)

The goal for these homework sheets was to create a place for you to easily type in your homework or announcements for each day, a place to list spelling words, as well as an area for the parents' initials. The large letters for each day can be colored by the student when they have finished that evening's homework.
I hope that they will be just what you need! I am currently working on newsletters that are also blackline. :)

Just click on the picture below to find this new pack in my TPT store and if you wouldn't mind, could you take a moment to pin it? Would it help if I said pretty please? ;) Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

It is such a fun and colorful pack that allows the teacher to post the letter of the day as well as offer a matching coloring sheet for the students to complete. I have also included alphabet loops that can be used to make alphabet chains by each student as they learn them, as bracelets for reinforcement or even as headers for those adorable alphabet art projects. Just click on the picture to find it in my TPT store. Let me know what you think!

I have also recently created a FREEBIE fun pack to help your kiddos practice their cursive writing skills. It integrates Scripture to help promote memorization and perhaps even encourage discussion. This is one of my biggest freebie packs and includes 25 Scripture handwriting pages that focus on proper formation and spacing. A bonus poster is included! I hope you enjoy the pack.
