Hi, friends! I wanted to share with you my latest projects! I found the cutest space clipart and it inspired me to begin working on a Final Frontier pack for you to use in your classroom. Here is what I have completed so far but I am working to finish complete sets as soon as I am back from my trip!
I can't wait to share some of the great ideas that I learn at the conference! I hope you enjoy looking at the new set! There will be more to come.

Throw Back Thursday Teacher Style!
Welcome back to another #TBTTS! Throw Back Thursday Teacher Style!
As I explained in my first #TBTTS post, I am sharing with you resources that aren't new but have definitely gotten a fun facelift! Today, I am going to share a freebie that I created to help students reflect as they read. It has activities that focus on before, during, and after reading skills like visualizing, vocabulary, summarizing, and opinion. I offer two versions in this freebie, one for picture books and one for chapter books. I hope this helps you students to not only read, but think WHILE they read.
As always, feel free to pin for later and click on the picture to download your FREE version!

God Bless America Sale!
The fun and excitement began yesterday, but I wanted to celebrate a little longer with a "God Bless America" Sale. My store will be have everything at 20% off through tomorrow evening! It would be a great time to snag a few of my bigger packs for a deep discount! Just click on the link to explore!
Right now, I am preparing for my week long conference next week! EEeekkk! I am so excited. I hope to snap some pictures and share some of the ideas that I feel really stand out to me about the Kagan method of cooperative learning. I have been brainstorming so much for next year. I have been wanting to turn my classroom into a more cooperative learning setting and less lecture. I plan to utilize Kagan structures, the Daily 5 and Math Clubs to do this. I will update you with any ideas that I have. My pinterest has been blowing up the past few weeks!! I think we should get in-service credit for that! Don't you? LOL

Happy Birthday America!
I hope you are all having a fabulous Summer! I am enjoying it although I feel like I might be even busier now than I was during the school year! How does that happen? Today is one of my favorite days. It is my country's birthday and I love it. It is a day to celebrate freedom, family and friends. I plan to do all of those today!
Before I jump in on the festivities (the ribs are smoking as we speak!), I wanted to share an updated version of a freebie that was one of the earliest additions to my store: Learning 4 Keeps. At the beginning of every year, I strive to create an environment of respect for my students. I remind them that they should not only respect their classmates and teacher, but also their classroom and themselves. Here is a set of posters that you can use to establish these expectations for the rest of the year. I hope you enjoy it!
Have a fantastic holiday weekend to all of my fellow Americans!

Throw Back Thursday= Updated Teacher Binders!
Hello, friends! I am so thrilled to be working on my blog and store this summer. Have you ever felt like you were on a ride that was full of bends, twists, even flips and it didn't seem to end? Yeah, that would be my life right now! I am so thankful that God has been with me through every stage, step, and scary moment. I would never had kept my sanity without His help. Once again, I look to Him today as I went to the doctor and received news that I wasn't expecting. A quick procedure could potentially be major surgery. I am once again looking at something beyond my control and simply trusting that God knew about it before I ever got here. :)
BUT, let me share with you my #Throw Back Thursday: Teacher Style!
This will be a series that I will do as often as possible that shares with you my resources that have been revamped and made to be even more fun. Today I want to share my Teacher Binders that have been updated with new calendars for 2014 and 2015! If you have already purchased these binders, you can redownload to get the newest versions. Let me share just a bit of the feedback that I have been receiving. It truly makes my day.
