Teachers Help Teachers: Reaching Out to Teachers Affected by Sandy

Hello, friends! As a Florida resident for most of my life, hurricanes and bad weather have become almost the expected. However, I have been so blessed to have been kept safe from these storms and I have always had my home to come back to after evacuation. This is not the case for many dealing with Hurricane Sandy. As a teacher, I also think of how many of the educators are having to start over. They have lost many, if not all, of their resources. So, a group at TPT has graciously offered to start a drive to collect donations of educational materials. Introducing Teachers help Teachers:

A Loaded Post: Blessings, Freebies, and a Currently!

Today is going to be a doozy of a post my friends! First, I want to do Day 3 of My Attitude of Gratitude. Today I am thankful for my oldest daughter: Emalee.  She was my first beautiful girl and bless her little heart, I had to learn everything with her! I am thankful that she doesn't seem to need therapy and has overall survived with little scarring. lol  My Em is a natural caregiver who has so many talents. She is gifted in music as she plays drums, piano, electric guitar and has just started learning some things on the bass. She is my side-kick and I love every moment I spend with her. <3

So, for Day Two of my Attitude of Gratitude- I am thankful for my sweet hubby! Here is what I put on my Facebook status for today:

Today I am thankful for the handsome musician that I met over half of my lifetime ago. I will never forget the moment I met his beautiful blue eyes while he played something just as beautiful on the piano. I immediately asked who he was and this next year we will celebrate 13 years of marriage. God led us into ministry together, around the state of Florida together, to raise three beautiful girls together, and to forever be together. Before he became the pastor that he is today, he was just my super talented, quiet and unassuming Cliff. My heart still beats for him. I look forward to many more seasons of thankfulness with my forever love...

To say that I am crazy about my honey would be an understatement. He has supported me in all of my endeavors including my latest: blogging and teacher resources! :) I am definitely thankful for him.
